Judith Chapter 7 | Bethulia Is Besieged | Bible Stories Media Network The moment the people of Israel feared has arrived. Holofernes orders his army to move against Bethulia. His forces surround the city, seize the mountain passes, and establish positions that cut off the Israelites from the surrounding lands. The siege begins. For thirty-four days, the people of Bethulia endure the pressure. Their water supplies begin to run dangerously low. Cisterns are emptied, and the people grow exhausted and desperate. The elders of the city finally face an impossible decision. Uzziah and the rulers of Bethulia tell the people to hold out for five more days. If God does not rescue them by then, they will surrender the city. But the people are suffering. Their children are fainting. Their women and young people are growing weak. The entire city cries out to Uzziah, demanding that something be done. Bethulia is surrounded. The enemy is waiting. The water is running out. And the people are beginning to wonder whether God will deliver them before it is too late. But they do not yet know that a widow named Judith is watching—and that she is about to change everything. 📖 Judith Chapter 7 THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK @enjoybiblestories #Judith7 #Judith #BookOfJudith #BibleStories #BibleShorts #BibleStudy #BibleExplained #Bethulia #Holofernes #AssyrianArmy #JudithBibleStory #Israel #Uzziah #DeuterocanonicalBooks #CatholicBible #BiblicalHistory #Christian #Scripture #Faith #EnjoyBibleStories Judith Chapter 7, Judith 7 explained, Judith chapter 7 Bible story, Book of Judith, Book of Judith explained, Judith Bible story, Judith Bible Shorts, Bethulia siege, siege of Bethulia, Holofernes, Holofernes army, Assyrian army, Assyrian siege, Israelites in Bethulia, Uzziah, Bethulia water shortage, water runs out Bethulia, thirty four days, 34 day siege, Israelites surrounded, Holofernes surrounds Bethulia, Judith Bible study, Deuterocanonical books, Deuterocanonical Bible, Catholic Bible stories, biblical history, Old Testament Bible stories, Bible stories, Bible Shorts, Christian Bible stories, Scripture, faith in God, Judith and Bethulia, Judith saves Israel, THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK, Enjoy Bible Stories
