China’s Real Life Spider-Men

China’s Real Life Spider-Men In their city, these high-rise workers are known as the Chinese Spider-Men. Instead of surrounding a building with scaffolding, they hang from ropes and move across exterior walls while carrying buckets, rollers, and plastering tools. Their work is not limited to cleaning windows. Chinese Spider-Men can repair cracked walls, apply waterproofing, spread cement render, seal joints, and repaint entire building façades. Rope access is especially useful when scaffolding or boom lifts would be difficult or expensive to install. A proper system uses a working rope, safety rope, harness, descent device, and secure anchor points. Workers control their height while keeping tools and materials attached or suspended beside them. That means they may spend hours working several stories above the ground, sometimes with little more than a narrow seat beneath them. It looks simple from below, but every movement matters when your workplace is the side of a building. #chinesespidermen #ropeaccess #highrisework #construction #buildingrepair
