Description

In 2026, a team drilling into the boat-shaped hill near Mount Ararat said it was "100% confirmed" as a man-made object. Then the drill bit broke on something hard, and no one can yet say what it was. But this isn't the first time this hill has been called Noah's Ark. It happened in 1987. In 2021. In 2023. In 2025. Each time, the people announcing it said they were closer than ever. In this episode, I put every announcement on a ladder, from the 1960 expedition that went to prove it was the Ark and came home calling it natural, to the 2026 radar, the "hallway," the robot named Gopher, and the lab results due this winter. Then I go back to what the oldest books actually say about where the Ark came to rest. Why does this one hill keep getting found? Or is there something else in this pattern? Which rung would you have stepped off this ladder? Tell me in the comments.
