How a Goat Became a Tiger’s Unlikely Companion #animals #shorts

Timur the goat and Amur the tiger became unlikely companions at Russia’s Primorsky Safari Park in November 2015. Timur entered the enclosure as live prey, but Amur did not eat him. The pair began spending time together, attracting worldwide attention. Their shared enclosure lasted roughly 2 months. In January 2016, keepers separated them after a confrontation in which Timur was injured. Park staff described the goat repeatedly pushing and headbutting the tiger before the clash. The story illustrates an unusual relationship between predator and prey in captivity. An extended period of peaceful contact did not remove the risk posed by the enormous difference in their strength. #animals #wildlife #nature #natureholic #Tiger #AnimalFriendship Nature, wildlife, animals, animal facts, wildlife facts, nature facts, animal behaviour, animal behavior, animal kingdom, animal adaptations, biodiversity, natural world, wildlife encounters, nature shorts, Amur and Timur, tiger and goat, animal friendship, Siberian tiger, Primorsky Safari Park, predator and prey
