Description

📕 Get the full cookbook - The Lunch Lady's $3,600-a-Year Grocery Cut (175 recipes & tricks, scaled for 1, 2 or a family): http://www.dorislunchlady.com/ Thirty-three inches of reach for a dollar and a half. A grabber like it runs about ten dollars online, and it is hanging in the hardware aisle at Dollar Tree, where most of us walk right past it. I ordered for a school kitchen that fed four hundred children a day, so I went through that store with a pencil, the way I used to check a delivery truck. Here are fifteen things a woman my age actually uses, most of them in the kitchen. Some are new on the shelf this year. On the list: the long reach grabber, folding reading glasses, an eyeglass cord, a magnifying glass, a weekly pill box (and the store that sells it for less), non-skid slipper socks, a push light, a kitchen timer, a phone and tablet stand, a large print word find, non-slip shelf liner, a magnetic notepad, flameless tea lights, a frozen supper for a dollar and a quarter, and at number fifteen, a name from the food shelf that came back after years away. For every one: what it costs, what it does in a kitchen where you are the only cook, and what to check before you buy it. I am Mrs. Doris. A school kitchen in Scioto County, Ohio, on a dollar and five cents a tray. Prices are what I saw at Dollar Tree in the fall of 2026 and vary by store, so check the shelf where you shop. Safety notes from the video: use a grabber for light things only, keep a magnifying glass out of direct sun, get cooked leftovers into the refrigerator within two hours, and heat a frozen meal until it is steaming hot all the way through. Store reading glasses are not a substitute for an eye exam. Which of these does your own kitchen need first, and what would you add to my list? Tell me below. #dollartree #dollartreefinds #over60
