Why The Premier League MUST FEAR Michael Carrick

Ruben Amorim was shown the door — and while that pleased Manchester United fans, the rest of the Premier League should be worried this season. Because the man who replaced him didn't just steady the ship. Michael Carrick won 11 of 16 games, beat Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Chelsea, and dragged United from sixth to third — more points than any team in the league over that stretch. Bruno Fernandes broke a 23-year-old Premier League assist record along the way. And United handed Carrick the job permanently before the season even ended. Now he has what he didn't have in January: a full pre-season, his own transfer window, and a squad that already believes. Šeško firing, Fernandes freed, a clear vision for the first time in years. He did all that with five months and no pre-season. Now imagine a full year. The question isn't whether Carrick can take United to the next level — it's whether the rest of the league is ready for what's coming.
