Today's readings call us to live according to the Holy Spirit and allow our faith to produce good fruit. Paul teaches that those who belong to Christ must turn away from the desires of the flesh and embrace the fruit of the Spirit, while the psalm reminds us to remain rooted in God's Word. Jesus warns against religious appearances that neglect justice and love, calling us instead to a faith expressed through humility, mercy, and service. === Wednesday, October 14, 2026 - The Divine Guidance: Are We Living By The Spirit? Reflection: Is the Holy Spirit producing love, patience, kindness, and other good fruit in the way we live and treat others? Prayer: Loving Father, help us to live according to Your Spirit and remain rooted in Your Word. Free us from attitudes and desires that keep us from loving You and others. Fill our hearts with love, patience, kindness, generosity, gentleness, and self-control. May our faith produce good fruit and may our lives reflect Your mercy, justice, and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. === Disclaimer: This video contains original reflections and commentary on the Catholic daily readings, produced by The Word Today TV.
