📕 Get The Lunch Lady's Home Cleaning Handbook, every method in this video written down with the amounts, in the order you would really do them:

There is a white ring on my dining room table and I am the one who put it there. A hot casserole, straight out of the oven, on a table that came out of my neighbor Garnet Sloan's house after she passed. I kept a bowl of flowers over that mark for ten Thanksgivings because I believed I had ruined something that was never mine to ruin.
It came out in six minutes with an iron and a pillowcase.
Here is the part nobody tells you. That white ring is not sitting ON your table. It is IN the finish. Bob Flexner, who writes about wood finishing, says light marks are moisture getting into a finish and creating voids, which are little empty places down inside that clear layer where water worked its way in and then dried out. Empty places scatter light, and anything that scatters light looks white. Which means every time you polished that ring you were working on the wrong side of it.
In this one:
- how to tell in ten seconds whether the water stopped in the finish or went into the wood, and why that decides everything
- why a hot dish and a cold glass leave exactly the same mark
- what the white actually is, in the words of the man who writes the books on wood finishes
- why polish, oil, toothpaste and mayonnaise never took
- what steel wool really costs you, and why I would leave it alone
- the pieces I would keep an iron away from entirely
- the whole method, with the one line that tells you when to stop
- and what a dark ring costs to put right, so nobody wastes an afternoon
Homework is at the end and there is nothing to clean.
