Russia's Plague Alert — 20 Essential Costco Buys Before the Next Pandemic

A lab worker died in Siberia and the word on every phone was plague. It's not coming to your town. But it is a wake-up call, and 2020 already showed us how fast the shelves empty. First, where the Russia story stands as of October 6, 2026. Then 20 Costco buys that let one or two people stay home for 60 days, each one tied to a real 2020 moment most folks forgot: Kirkland toilet paper, purified water, jasmine rice, Quaker oats, canned chicken, shelf-stable milk, frozen vegetables, chicken stock, Softsoap refills, disinfecting wipes, nitrile gloves, electrolyte mix, a no-touch thermometer, acetaminophen, N95 masks, puzzles, light dumbbells, a SentrySafe file box, an iPad, and at number one, the buy you can get in most states without a membership card. You'll also hear about the 2020 cleaning mistake that sent calls to poison control way up, and the Medicare rule that stops most phone scams. Nothing in this video prevents or treats any disease. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about your medicines. Costco prices are from 2026 and vary by warehouse.
