Description

Salmān al-Fārisī رضي الله عنه: The Man Who Searched a Lifetime for the Final Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم He was the son of a chief in Persia, trusted to guard the fire his people worshipped. He gave all of it up because of three signs a dying teacher described to him: signs of a Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم who had not yet appeared. In this video, we follow the journey of سلمان الفارسي رضي الله عنه in his own words. It takes him from Persia to Syria, Mosul, Nusaybin and Ammuriyah, through years of servitude, and finally to Madinah, where he found the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and saw each of the three signs for himself. 00:00 Introduction 01:10 The Keeper of the Fire 04:40 The Bishop Who Hid the Gold 08:10 Mosul, Nusaybin, Ammuriyah 11:40 Wronged at Wadi al-Qura 15:10 The Voice Below the Palm Tree 18:30 The Third Sign 22:00 Three Hundred Palm Trees 25:30 If Faith Were at the Pleiades Sources & References Qur'an (Sahih International translation, quran.com) Surah As-Saff 61:6: https://quran.com/61/6 Surah Al-A'raf 7:157: https://quran.com/7/157 Surah Al-Jumu'ah 62:3: https://quran.com/62/3 Hadith The full story of Salman al-Farisi رضي الله عنه, narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما: Musnad Ahmad 5/441, with a hasan chain of narration. It is presented in the video as a later report: https://www.islamweb.net/en/fatwa/384112/salman-al-farisis-advise-to-dig-the-trench Note on our method: Everything narrated as fact in this video comes from the Qur'an or from authentic or hasan hadith. Details that come only from later historical reports are clearly labelled as such in the video. And Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows best.
