She Fell 10,000 Feet From a Plane… And SURVIVED! #Shorts

On Christmas Eve, 1971, a passenger plane broke apart over the Amazon rainforest. Seventeen-year-old Juliane Koepcke fell thousands of feet, still strapped to a row of airplane seats. Against extraordinary odds, she survived. But surviving the crash was only the beginning. On December 24, 1971, LANSA Flight 508 was flying across Peru when it encountered a violent thunderstorm. The aircraft broke apart above the rainforest, killing 91 of the 92 people aboard. Juliane was the sole survivor. Injured, alone and surrounded by dense Amazonian wilderness, she faced an almost impossible journey back to civilization. Fortunately, her parents were zoologists, and she had learned valuable lessons about surviving in the rainforest. One of those lessons would help save her life. For 11 days, she fought through the jungle before finally reaching rescuers. This is the extraordinary true story of Juliane Koepcke — the girl who survived a fall from the sky and then survived the Amazon. **SURVIVAL STORIES — THE AXER STORIES** Extraordinary people.
