Description

He was the uncle of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم. He was one of the leading men of Makkah, and he is the one enemy whom Allah سبحانه وتعالى named directly in the Qur'an. On the day Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم stood on As-Safa and warned his own people, Abu Lahab cursed him in front of all of Quraysh, and a surah came down announcing what would become of him while he was still alive, still walking the markets and still able to speak. For almost ten years he could have answered that surah with a few words, and he never did. In this video we follow the whole story from beginning to end: the morning on As-Safa, the revelation of Surah al-Masad, what the reports say about his wife and his sons, the news that reached Makkah after Badr, and the way his life ended. Then comes the part most people never hear, because his own children did not follow the path he chose. Throughout the video we separate what is established in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah from what comes from the reports of the sirah and the books of tafsir. Where something is not established, we say so. 📿 If this story stayed with you, subscribe to Iman Aldeen TV and leave a comment below.
