Description
My grandmother owned one frying pan for 41 years. Her home essentials lasted. Mine didn’t. I threw away four pans in six years, so I went back to her way. Here’s how.
When I turned 52, I sat down with a notebook and added up everything I’d replaced in five years. It came to a little over $3,000 on things that should have lasted. In this video, I share the 7 home essentials I now spend MORE on, on purpose. These are my grandmother’s buy-it-once home essentials: a cast iron skillet, real cotton sheets, one good knife, and more. I’ll show you exactly what each one saves me. And stay for number one. It isn’t really about money at all, and it’s the one that changed how I see my whole home.
⏱️ TIMESTAMPS:

10:47 — #1: Why Grandma used her good china daily
Which one of these seven are you going to try first? Is it the skillet, the towels, or are you finally taking the good dishes out of the closet? Tell me in the comments. I read every single one.
