That white spiral coming from the wing is a condensation vortex.
An airplane wing creates lift because the air pressure around the wing is not the same everywhere. Air below the wing is generally at a higher pressure than the air above it. As the airplane moves forward, some of this air curls around parts of the wing and creates a spinning tube of air called a vortex.
Inside that fast-spinning air, the pressure can suddenly drop. When the surrounding air contains enough moisture, this pressure drop also lowers the temperature for a moment.
That can cause invisible water vapor in the air to condense into millions of tiny water droplets, making the vortex temporarily visible as a white line or cloud.
This is why the trail can appear to twist, curl, and follow the airflow around the wing.
It is different from a typical contrail, which usually forms behind a jet engine at high altitude when water vapor from the engine exhaust freezes into tiny ice crystals.
In this footage, the white trail is forming directly around the wing and following the shape of the airflow, making it a great visual example of aerodynamics happening in real time.
In simple terms: the airplane is making the air spin so strongly that moisture in the air briefly becomes visible.
This video is shared for educational purposes to demonstrate airflow, pressure changes, condensation, and aircraft aerodynamics.
