Mountain Lions vs the Steepest Wall in the Rockies link video : https://youtu.be/G3HtdcWhg8U Two mountain lions ambush a mountain goat on a high plateau in the Rockies. Over a short sprint, a lion is faster, so the goat does the one thing that changes the math: it goes over the edge. The goat isn't luring anyone. It's running to the only ground where it has the advantage. A mountain lion can leap fifteen feet straight up, but climbing and holding on are different skills. A goat's hooves spread and grip bare rock with a soft pad, while a lion's claws are made for flesh and bark, not polished stone and ice. On this wall, every move costs the hunters more than it costs the hunted, and an injury could cost them everything. 00:00 The ambush 00:40 The chase to the edge 01:04 Over the edge 01:28 Hooves vs claws 02:40 The icy slab 03:36 The lions back down 04:24 The steepest place is the safest #mountaingoat #mountainlion #wildlife #naturedocumentary #animals ⚠️ DISCLAIMER This video is created for educational, documentary, and storytelling purposes.
