Wild dog vs Caracal family: Caracal uses climbing skills to protect its cubs | survival wilderness link video : https://youtu.be/IPyEHEGtNzM A caracal mother is moving her two kittens across the open Kalahari when a pack of African wild dogs appears. The kittens can't outrun them, so she runs for the one place dogs can't follow: the only acacia for miles. Wild dogs are among the most successful pack hunters in Africa, but their legs are built for running, with blunt claws that never retract. They can't climb, so they do the only thing they can. They wait. But every hour under that tree is an hour not spent hunting something they can actually catch. Once the pack gives up, the mother takes her kittens hunting for mole-rats, whose colonies live in the dark below the sand, and a falcon patrols the sky for the same prey. 00:00 A family on open ground 00:24 The wild dogs 01:12 Into the tree 01:44 The siege 02:48 The pack gives up 03:12 A colony underground 04:16 The hunt at the mounds 06:16 The colony seals the tunnel 06:40 The falcon 08:32 The dive 09:36 Survivors never give it #caracal #wilddogs #wildlife #naturedocumentary #kalahari ⚠️ DISCLAIMER This video is created for educational, documentary, and storytelling purposes.
