What happens when a mother porcupine protects her young from a troop of baboons| survival wilderness link video : https://youtu.be/W7Ic3HSflas A troop of baboons can stand up to a leopard, and they'll eat almost anything. So when the troop finds a crested porcupine and her baby hiding under the rocks, the baby looks like an easy meal. The mother doesn't run. She steps into the open, raises a wall of spines, rattles the hollow quills on her tail and stamps her feet. When the whole troop moves in anyway, one mother takes them all on. She does what porcupines do best: she runs backward, quills first, into whoever is closest. The quills come loose at the slightest touch, and for animals that live by their hands, that is a serious price to pay. 00:00 The troop 00:56 Something under the rocks 01:52 The mother steps out 02:24 The warning 03:12 The grab 03:52 The price 04:48 The lesson 05:20 One more try 05:44 The troop gives up 06:16 Back to the shadows 06:56 Dusk in the sleeping tree 07:20 Night, and the porcupines step out #baboon #porcupine #wildlife #naturedocumentary #animals ⚠️ DISCLAIMER This video is created for educational, documentary, and storytelling purposes.
