Description

Hiroshima, I'm Home is my original Japanese song set in autumn 1945. A soldier returns from the war to find his city gone, no home, no mother, no comrades, only ash and the wind. On 6 August 1945, Hiroshima became the first city destroyed by an atomic bomb. Around 70,000 people died in the immediate blast and fires, with the death toll reaching roughly 140,000 by the end of the year. In this Nightcore version, the fast-moving instrumental symbolizes how suddenly everything can disappear and how quickly life can change. In contrast, the slower, softer vocals reflect the emotional experience of loss, a moment in which time seems to stand still and every second feels endless. The original rock-ballad version can be found on my main channel (https://youtu.be/3gOhbjkn4XE) [EN] DISCLAIMER & HISTORICAL CONTEXT This is a fictional work told from the perspective of an invented Japanese soldier returning to Hiroshima in autumn 1945 after the atomic bombing. He was not present during the bombing, and the song does not depict the event itself. It focuses solely on personal loss and grief, while respectfully acknowledging the real victims and survivors. The work supports no ideology, government, or military cause. [CREDITS] This is an original song.
