A Prince in Disguise | Dark Fantasy Series (Part 148)

Two men.🖤 Two kisses.🔥 And one very unfortunate audience.👀 Rook is beginning to regret several of his recent decisions. Not necessarily the kisses. Although... those are becoming increasingly difficult to explain. No. The real problem is that Yannis has discovered who Rook has been spending his time with. Tristan. A dangerous bounty hunter. The man who kidnapped Alaric. And quite possibly the last person Yannis would ever want to see Rook getting romantically involved with. Understandably... Yannis isn't taking the news particularly well. "Have you completely lost your mind? He's a bloody outlaw!" Rook has already tried pretending that none of it meant anything. Just a bit of fun. Nothing serious. Certainly nothing worth getting upset about. But Yannis isn't convinced. And Tristan? Well... he's sitting right there. Still tied to the tree. Still listening. And after hearing Rook dismiss their little adventure as nothing more than a bit of fun... he might be feeling just a little less inclined to protect Rook's dignity. So when Yannis starts demanding answers... Tristan decides to be helpful. In his own very special way. "For the record... HE kissed ME." Rook immediately turns towards him. "Shut up." But Tristan isn't finished. Of course he isn't. That familiar, infuriating smirk returns. "Twice." And just like that... Rook's situation becomes considerably worse. Because Yannis had barely managed to process the first kiss. And now? "TWICE?!" One can only imagine what Rook is thinking. Perhaps something about leaving Tristan tied to that tree forever. Perhaps something about never speaking to him again. Or perhaps... something considerably less convincing. Because despite everything... Rook still hasn't managed to explain why he keeps going back to kiss the enemy he's supposed to despise. And just when he thinks the morning couldn't possibly become more embarrassing... another voice joins the conversation. "Morning!" Alaric. Cheerful. Completely unaware, as per usual. And apparently blessed with the worst possible timing. He takes one look at Rook. Tilts his head. And asks the question nobody wants to answer. "Oh... why do you look so guilty?" Poor Rook. Caught kissing his enemy. Exposed by the very man he kissed. Interrogated by his furious friend and flame. And now... the prince Tristan kidnapped has arrived to join the conversation. Some mornings... it's probably better not to get out of bed. 😂 This is just a small moment from The Firelords Saga — where enemies are becoming dangerously close, secrets rarely stay secret for long... and falling for the wrong man can make even an ordinary morning in the forest rather complicated. 🔥🖤 Thank you to everyone already following their story… it truly means more than you know. 🖤 If you love slow burn romance, emotional tension, fantasy storytelling, and Boys Love (BL) dynamics — this is for you. 💛 New here?
