A Prince in Disguise | Dark Fantasy Series (Part 146)

Two men.🖤 One unexpected kiss.🔥 And absolutely the worst possible person to walk in. Rook never intended for things to get this complicated. Tristan was supposed to be an enemy. A dangerous bounty hunter. A man who couldn't be trusted. Someone Rook should have left tied to a tree and forgotten about. And yet... somewhere along the way, things changed. The arguments became teasing. The threats became flirting. And the man Rook wanted to keep at a safe distance... became someone he couldn't seem to stay away from. Now, as morning arrives in the forest... Rook is preparing to leave. Tristan is still tied to the tree. And Rook? Well... he looks rather pleased with himself... we all know why. "Not bad, mate." Tristan tries to hide his smirk. But there's something else in his expression. Something quieter. Because perhaps, for once, Tristan isn't quite as interested in the physical-only. Perhaps he's wondering whether this is all it meant to Rook. Just a little fun. A passing distraction. Something to forget once the morning comes. And Rook almost leaves him with that thought. Almost. Because after a few steps... he stops. Turns around. And looks at Tristan again. Maybe he notices the disappointment. Maybe he simply realises that walking away without another word doesn't feel quite right. Whatever the reason... he returns. Crouches in front of him. And kisses him. Not to win an argument. Not to silence another ridiculous remark. Not even to prove a point. Just because... he wants to. And for a brief moment, Tristan looks genuinely surprised. Then their eyes meet. A small smile. A quiet understanding. Perhaps something neither of them is ready to name. And just when the moment couldn't possibly become any more tender... "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Yannis. Of course. Because apparently, the forest isn't quite as private as Rook thought. And judging by the look on his face... Rook has absolutely no idea how he's going to explain this one. 👀 This is just a small moment from The Firelords Saga — where enemies can become lovers, even the most dangerous men can develop unexpected feelings... and sometimes the hardest part of falling for someone is explaining it to your friends. 🔥🖤 If you love slow burn romance, emotional tension, fantasy storytelling, and Boys Love (BL) dynamics — this is for you. 💛 New here?
