This Device Shows How Much Gas Is Left

Original Video Credit: IG@nample This small device is used to check how much liquid gas is left inside a propane or butane cylinder. You simply press it against different points on the side of the tank. It sends ultrasonic waves through the metal and detects whether liquid gas is sitting behind that spot. If gas is detected at that level, the device shows a signal. By moving it up and down the cylinder, you can roughly find where the liquid level ends. This makes it easier to estimate how much gas remains without relying only on the weight of the cylinder or guessing from how long it has been used. In simple terms, it is like giving the gas tank a quick “scan” from the outside. This video is shared for educational purposes to show how ultrasonic sensing can be used in everyday tools.
