The 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Hybrid is a compact SUV that combines bold styling, hybrid technology and modern features for everyday driving. Developed for customers seeking a balance between fuel efficiency and driving performance, the Xforce HEV is available in Thailand with Mitsubishi’s next-generation hybrid powertrain. The model originally premiered in Bangkok in March 2025 and continues to be part of Mitsubishi’s hybrid SUV lineup in 2026. Hybrid Powertrain and Performance The Mitsubishi Xforce HEV uses a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder MIVEC petrol engine paired with a high-output electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. The petrol engine produces 107 PS and 134 Nm of torque, while the electric motor delivers 116 PS and 255 Nm. A newly developed two-speed transaxle helps provide smooth acceleration and efficient performance across different driving conditions. The hybrid system can operate using electric power at low speeds, combine engine and motor power during acceleration, and recover energy through regenerative braking. Mitsubishi claims fuel economy of up to 24.4 km/l under the specified test cycle, although actual consumption depends on driving conditions. The SUV uses a front-wheel-drive layout and features seven selectable driving modes, including Normal, Wet, Gravel, Tarmac, Mud, EV-Priority and Charge. Exterior and Interior Features The Xforce Hybrid features Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield front design, LED lighting, muscular body cladding and 18-inch alloy wheels. It measures 4,390 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height, with a 2,650 mm wheelbase and 183 mm ground clearance. Inside, the SUV offers a 12.3-inch smartphone-linked infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a digital instrument display. Selected variants also feature a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system and a hands-free electric tailgate. Safety and Availability Active Yaw Control (AYC) helps improve cornering stability, while available driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation and blind-spot warning. The 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce Hybrid offers an appealing combination of efficiency, technology and SUV practicality.
