Description

XPENG has opened order books for its new flagship SUV: the XPENG G9L (combined energy consumption: 21.1–22.5 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km; CO2 class: A—figures subject to final WLTP homologation). Making its first appearance before the European public near the Seine, the vehicle is now available to order in Germany, with prices starting at 74,600 euros (RRP, including 19% VAT). The new XPENG G9L is being launched in 64 countries and regions worldwide, with the first vehicles set to be delivered to customers as early as December 2026. The European models are manufactured by Magna in Graz, Austria, Measuring 5.12 meters in length, just under two meters in width, and 1.78 meters in height, the XPENG G9L introduces a new scale and powerful proportions to the high-tech brand’s SUV lineup. A key visual identifier is the slender light signature that spans the entire width of the vehicle at both the front and rear. Various features ensure a distinctive welcome: the available DLP pixel headlights—standard on the 6-seater version and included in the Premium Package—can project dynamic graphics and driving information onto the road ahead, whether as a greeting or while the vehicle is in motion. Passengers in the second row are also welcomed by a special light graphic. Electrically opening doors and power-deployable running boards make entering and exiting the vehicle effortless, allowing occupants to step inside with ease despite a ground clearance of up to 216 millimeters. In keeping with XPENG’s design language, the vehicle also features a power-operated tailgate. This opens to reveal a trunk with a capacity of 367 liters (VDA standard, including the under-floor storage compartment), which can be expanded to as much as 1,330 liters by folding down the third row of seats (in the XPENG G9L AWD Performance Ultra 6-seater). Additionally, there is a 65-liter "frunk" (front trunk) located under the hood. For those who need even more capacity, the vehicle offers a towing the capability of up to 2.0 metric tons. Customers can choose from four exterior paint finishes: Arctic White (a standard, no-cost option), Waving Green, Mirror Gray, and Diamond Black. With a wheelbase of 3.10 meters, occupants in all three rows enjoy exceptional comfort and generous amounts of both headroom and legroom. Depending on their personal preferences and requirements, customers can choose between two interior color schemes—Meteorite Black and Tangerine—as well as a seating layout featuring either six individual seats or a seven-seat configuration (2:3:2). The Nappa leather front seats—which are electrically adjustable, heated, ventilated, and equipped with a massage function—feature a world first: AI-driven "Active Adaptive Seating" technology. Using advanced sensor systems, the technology adjusts the seats to the specific body shapes of the occupants, ensuring perfect comfort. Adaptive side bolsters automatically enhance lateral support when cornering, while lumbar and thigh supports provide an additional level of well-being. The XPENG G9L is built on an 800-volt architecture and boasts an impressive charging capacity of 540 kW, which reduces charging time to under twelve minutes (10–80 percent). Customers can choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive: • XPENG G9L RWD Long Range Ultra (7-seater): features a 110 kWh NCM battery, a 270 kW/367 hp rear-wheel-drive system, and a range of up to 591 kilometers (WLTP combined); prices start at 74,600 euros (RRP, including 19% VAT). • XPENG G9L AWD Performance Ultra (7-seater): features a 110 kWh NCM battery, a 430 kW/585 hp all-wheel-drive system, and a range of up to 553 kilometers (WLTP combined); prices start at 79,600 euros (RRP, including 19% VAT). • XPENG G9L AWD Performance Ultra (6-seater): features a 110 kWh NCM battery, a 430 kW/585 hp all-wheel-drive system, and a range of up to 553 kilometers (WLTP combined); prices start at 85,600 euros (RRP, including 19% VAT). Equipped with two motors—one on the front axle and one on the rear—delivering 695 Nm of torque, the XPENG G9L AWD Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The top speed for all powertrain variants is limited to 200 km/h. The braking distance from 100 to 0 km/h is 35.1 meters—an excellent figure. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function also turns the XPENG G9L into a mobile power bank: external devices—such as e-bikes and the like—can be powered with up to 6 kW of electricity. #xpeng #xpengg9l #xpengg9 #xpengcar #xpengg9l2027 #xpengg9lprice #xpengg9lpowertrain #xpengg9lev #xpengg9electric Thank you for watching.
