All New 2027 Fiat Multiplay First Look – A Revolutionary Multi-Purpose Vehicle!

Fiat has showcased the futuristic Multiplay concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, introducing an unconventional vehicle that combines the practicality of a minivan with styling cues from SUVs and pickup trucks. Designed around flexibility, functionality and outdoor lifestyles, the concept presents a fresh approach to family transportation. Although Fiat initially described the Multiplay as a “laboratory of solutions” rather than a preview of a production vehicle, the innovative design could potentially influence a future model before the end of the decade. The Fiat Multiplay concept measures 4.45 metres in length and features a highly adaptable interior with three rows of seating for six occupants. An additional dedicated space for pets adds to its family-friendly appeal. One of the concept's most distinctive features is its transforming rear section. The rear portion of the roof slides forward together with the third row of seats, converting the vehicle from a three-row minivan into a dual-cab pickup with four interior seats. This transformation creates an open cargo bed and a split tailgate, making it easier to carry bulky equipment and outdoor accessories. The design aims to combine the passenger-carrying capability of a family vehicle with the load-carrying practicality of a pickup, without requiring two separate vehicles. The Fiat Multiplay concept features several innovative solutions designed to enhance practicality and outdoor adventures. In pickup mode, the vehicle retains four passenger seats while offering an open cargo bed for carrying bicycles, bulky luggage, sports equipment and camping accessories. Another unique feature is the rotating rear spoiler, which transforms into an integrated bicycle rack capable of accommodating two bikes. Inside, Fiat introduces a distinctive feature called the Sunseat, a front passenger seat designed for relaxation. When the vehicle is parked, the seat can rotate to face rearward and use the dashboard as a backrest, creating a comfortable chaise lounge beneath the panoramic roof. Fiat has not announced the Multiplay's powertrain specifications, battery capacity, engine options or performance figures.
