When a busy airport cannot take more arrivals, incoming planes are sent into a holding pattern. They circle the same loop in the sky, burning fuel and going nowhere, and not one of them lands by flying harder. They land only when the tower calls them down. That is what a racing mind feels like: the bill, the conversation you keep replaying, the child you cannot stop worrying about, round and round with none of them landing. You do not need a quiet mind before you come to God. You come to Him, and He quiets your mind. This morning devotional walks through three truths for a racing mind: your thoughts are not hidden from God, and David strengthened himself in the Lord at Ziklag before his mind had calmed (Psalm 139:2, 1 Samuel 30:6, Psalm 61:2); the weight you were never meant to carry alone, and the hidden reason some thoughts keep circling even after we pray, seen in Moses and Jethro (Exodus 18:17-18, Proverbs 16:3, Psalm 127:2); and the perfect peace that keeps your mind, including the one Hebrew word God wrote twice in Isaiah 26:3 that most people read right past, and the woman who had been circling for twelve years (Mark 5:34, Romans 15:13). Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over your racing thoughts, your family, your finances, your healing and your breakthrough, in the mighty name of Jesus. This is a prayer of faith offered as spiritual encouragement. If you are struggling with your mental health, please also speak to your doctor or a professional you trust. Prayer and care belong together. 🙏 If this prayer blessed you, comment "AMEN" and share it with someone whose mind has been racing. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a morning prayer. 📖 CHAPTERS 0:00 When Your Mind Won't Stop Racing - The Holding Pattern 1:23 The Lord of Peace Gives Peace in Every Way (2 Thessalonians 3:16) 1:47 The Word God Wrote Twice in One Verse 2:20 Truth 1 - Your Racing Thoughts Are Not Hidden From God (Psalm 139:2) 3:09 David at Ziklag - Strengthened in the Lord Before the Mind Was Calm (1 Samuel 30:6) 4:48 Lead Me to the Rock That Is Higher Than I (Psalm 61:2) 5:41 Truth 2 - The Weight You Were Never Meant to Carry Alone 6:28 Moses and Jethro - This Thing Is Too Much for You (Exodus 18:17-18) 7:59 Commit Your Works and Your Thoughts Will Be Established (Proverbs 16:3) 8:32 He Gives His Beloved Sleep (Psalm 127:2) 9:09 Truth 3 - The Perfect Peace That Keeps Your Mind (Isaiah 26:3) 9:35 Shalom Shalom - Why Perfect Peace Is Peace Upon Peace 10:32 The Woman Who Circled for Twelve Years (Mark 5:34) 12:00 The God of Hope Fills You With Peace in Believing (Romans 15:13) 13:08 Morning Prayer for a Racing Mind Begins 13:50 Prayer of Confession and Forgiveness 14:18 Prayer to Land Every Racing Thought in God's Peace 14:59 Prayer for Provision, Favor and Breakthrough 15:50 Prayer for Healing of Body, Emotions and Mind 16:17 Praying in Agreement - Standing Together This Morning 17:24 Amen - Type "Amen" If You Were Blessed Scriptures in this prayer (NKJV): 2 Thessalonians 3:16 • Psalm 139:2 • 1 Samuel 30:6 • Psalm 61:2 • Exodus 18:17-18 • Proverbs 16:3 • Psalm 127:2 • Isaiah 26:3 • Mark 5:34 • Romans 15:13 #MorningPrayer #PrayerForPeaceOfMind #RacingMind
