Description
📗 Save $2,000 A Year On Whiskey With My Distiller Methods: https://wadecooperdistiller.com
I have a bottle of Blanton's on my kitchen counter, still sealed, and the state of Virginia sells it for 82 dollars and 99 cents. You know the bottle even if you have never held one: the little metal horse on the cork, the paper label with the numbers written on it by hand. Most of the men who carry it out of a store have paid for a story.
That story is almost always one of three things. The building the whiskey aged in. The single barrel it came out of. And the recipe, plus how strong it was when it went into the glass. None of those belong to one company. So I count down seven bottles, every one of them under half the price, and every one of them beats that bottle on at least one of the three. You can check each claim on the label or in the company's own words.
Along the way I turn the Blanton's around and read you the name on the back, and I take back a claim you have heard in every bourbon video, that a 16 dollar bottle is the same whiskey because it comes off the same recipe. It is not, and I say why.
At the end I give you the four things you can check on any shelf in about a minute, so you never need a list from me again. Then a look at the bourbon market as it stands this year, because the chase is over and the price on the shelf has not been told yet.
Your homework costs nothing: five minutes in front of the glass case without putting anything in the cart, and two bottles from this list read side by side at home.
I spent 34 years in this industry making whiskey and looking after it, and a good part of those years filling barrels that went out under names that were not the name of the place that made them. Nobody paid me to say any of this. There is no link, no code, and nothing for sale.
