This morning devotional walks through three truths. First, your prayer can reach where you cannot go, through the Roman centurion whose servant was healed without Jesus ever entering the house (Psalm 107:20; Matthew 8:13). Second, do not be afraid, only believe, through Jairus, who heard the worst news while Jesus was still on the way (Mark 5:36; Psalm 41:3). Third, your faith can carry them to Jesus, through four friends who broke through a roof, and the small phrase in Mark that most people read right past (Mark 2:5; Galatians 6:2). Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over the one you love who is sick: their body, their strength, their medical care, their family and the caregivers beside them, in the mighty name of Jesus. This is a prayer of faith offered as spiritual encouragement, not medical advice. Please keep following the care of your doctors and nurses. Prayer and care belong together. 📖 CHAPTERS 0:00 When They Cannot Pray, You Can Pray for Them 0:25 When Someone You Love Is Sick and You Feel Helpless 0:59 Praying for Another Person's Health (3 John 1:2) 1:26 The Small Phrase in Mark Most People Read Right Past 2:10 Your Prayer Can Reach Where You Cannot Go 2:43 He Sent His Word and Healed Them (Psalm 107:20) 3:14 The Roman Centurion Who Came for His Servant 3:57 As You Have Believed, So Let It Be Done (Matthew 8:13) 4:50 You Do Not Need to Be in the Room for God to Move in the Room 5:36 Do Not Be Afraid, Only Believe 6:01 Jairus and the Daughter at the Point of Death 6:58 When the Report Sounds Final (Mark 5:36) 7:17 Little Girl, Arise — The Delay Did Not Have the Last Say 8:06 Strengthened on the Bed of Illness (Psalm 41:3) 9:06 Your Faith Can Carry Them to Jesus 9:29 Four Friends Carry a Paralyzed Man Through a Roof (Mark 2) 10:09 The Hidden Phrase — When Jesus Saw Their Faith (Mark 2:5) 11:06 When They Are Too Weak to Believe, Your Faith Breathes for Them 11:26 Bear One Another's Burdens (Galatians 6:2) 11:58 Invite Others to Carry Your Loved One With You 12:26 Sickness Will Never Have the Final Word 13:09 Morning Prayer for Healing — Praise to the Lord Who Heals 16:12 Praying in Agreement — Standing Together This Morning 17:17 Closing Blessing — Type Amen and Receive It Scriptures in this prayer (NKJV): 3 John 1:2 • Psalm 107:20 • Matthew 8:13 • Mark 5:36 • Psalm 41:3 • Mark 2:5 • Galatians 6:2 Bible accounts: the centurion's servant (Matthew 8:5-13) • Jairus's daughter (Mark 5:22-43) • the paralyzed man lowered through the roof (Mark 2:1-12) #MorningPrayer #PrayerForTheSick #PrayerForHealing
