Sumerian Text Reveals the Creature That Stole the Anunnaki's Most Powerful Object There was one object the Anunnaki could not rule without: the Tablet of Destinies. Whoever held it controlled the fate of everything, gods included. And one day, it was stolen from Enlil's own sanctuary by the creature the gods had placed at the door.
