Description
My weight loss on Zepbound has slowed down, and I'll admit, it's been frustrating. After losing 50 pounds at 72, I started wondering why the scale wasn't moving the way it had before.
But when I took a closer look at what had been happening in my life, I realized there were some things I needed to pay more attention to.
Between my husband's surgery, daily trips to rehab, and trying to keep up with everything else, my normal routine had changed. I wasn't always eating regular meals, and some days I wasn't getting the nourishment I needed.
In today's video, I'm sharing what's been happening with my Zepbound journey, what I realized about my daily routine, and what I'm working on now.
I'm not suggesting that eating too little caused my plateau or that changing my routine will automatically restart weight loss. I'm simply sharing my experience in case you're going through something similar.
💬 Let's talk! Have you experienced a weight-loss plateau on Zepbound or another GLP-1 medication? What did you notice about your routine when your weight loss slowed down? I'd love to hear your experience in the comments.
If you're new here, welcome to Finding Grace With Paula! I'm 72, and this channel is all about life after 60, aging well, taking care of ourselves, navigating life's unexpected changes, and discovering that there's still so much living left to do.
I'm sharing my personal experience, not medical advice. Please speak with your doctor about concerns with your medication, nutrition, or weight loss.
📖 MY BOOK
If you're navigating a season of life that looks different from what you imagined, I hope you'll take a look at my book, Finding Grace in Every Season of Life. I share personal reflections on marriage, caregiving, getting older, finding strength through life's changes, and remembering that our stories are far from over.
