Daily Bible Verse + Prayer for Today | Isaiah 64:8 | Morning Devotional

Are you feeling pressed, stretched, or uncertain about who you are becoming? Begin your day with Isaiah 64:8 and a heartfelt morning prayer about trusting God, surrendering to His guidance, and remaining open to His work in your life. “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.” - Isaiah 64:8 (KJV) A difficult season can leave you feeling unfinished and uncomfortable. Isaiah gives us a picture to carry into those moments: we are the clay, and God is the Potter. Notice how the verse begins: “Thou art our father.” The One we ask to shape our lives is our Father. We can approach Him with our questions, our struggles, and our desire to grow, trusting His wisdom and loving care. In today’s morning devotional, we reflect on three encouraging truths: • We are the work of God’s hand. • We can remain teachable and responsive to His Word. • God can bring growth even through difficult seasons. Perhaps you are learning patience, facing a change, or surrendering a plan you wanted to control. Bring that situation before the Lord. Ask Him for discernment, courage, and a willing heart as He guides your next steps. Staying soft in the Potter’s hands means listening, praying, and responding faithfully to His direction. You can trust Him with the work still taking place in you, even when you cannot yet see what it will become. Join Inspired Topics for a few quiet moments in Scripture and prayer.
