In 1977, two small Voyager probes were launched into deep space, each carrying a golden record of greetings for whoever finds it someday, and nearly 50 years later they are still sending signals home. A grandparent's prayer works the same way: it is spoken today, and it keeps speaking into every tomorrow. Unlike Voyager, it never drifts without a destination. It goes straight to the heart of God. This morning devotional walks through three truths. First, your blessing reaches beyond your own lifetime — God's mercy flows to children's children, and old Jacob laid his hands on his grandsons and passed them the very covering that had guarded his own life (Psalm 103:17-18, Psalm 112:1-2, Genesis 48:16, Hebrews 11:21). Second, God guards what you place in His hands — when a wicked queen tried to wipe out a royal family line, one faithful aunt hid little Joash in the house of the Lord for six years until he was crowned king (Psalm 121:7-8, 2 Kings 11, Isaiah 59:21). And third, your faith becomes their inheritance — the grandmother the Bible names only once, and how her quiet faith helped carry the gospel to the nations (2 Timothy 1:5, Acts 16:1, Deuteronomy 4:9). Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over your grandchildren, your children and your whole family line, for their protection, their future and their peace, in the mighty name of Jesus. 🙏 If this prayer blessed you, comment "AMEN" and share it with another grandparent who prays for their family every morning. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a morning prayer. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 Your Prayers Reach Places Your Feet Will Never Walk 0:20 Voyager's Golden Record — Still Speaking After Nearly 50 Years 0:39 Pray This Over Your Grandchildren and Watch God Guard Their Future 1:04 His Righteousness to Children's Children (Psalm 103:17-18) 1:43 The Grandmother the Bible Names Only Once 2:20 Your Blessing Reaches Beyond Your Own Lifetime 2:56 His Descendants Will Be Mighty on Earth (Psalm 112:1-2) 3:49 Jacob's Bedside Blessing Over His Grandsons (Genesis 48) 4:08 God Has Also Shown Me Your Offspring (Genesis 48:11) 4:32 The Angel Who Redeemed Me, Bless the Lads (Genesis 48:16) 5:22 By Faith Jacob Blessed Them (Hebrews 11:21) 5:39 Speak Their Names Before the Lord 5:56 God Guards What You Place in His Hands 6:15 The Lord Shall Preserve Your Going Out and Coming In (Psalm 121:7-8) 6:56 Athaliah and the Royal Line Under Attack (2 Kings 11) 7:36 Jehosheba — the Aunt Who Hid Little Joash 8:12 Long Live the King — Joash Crowned at Seven (2 Kings 11:12) 8:50 Your Descendants' Descendants in God's Covenant (Isaiah 59:21) 9:37 Your Faith Becomes Their Inheritance 9:56 Grandmother Lois and Mother Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5) 10:23 Faith in an Imperfect Home (Acts 16:1) 11:16 The Hidden Power of a Grandparent Who Prays 11:32 Teach Them to Your Grandchildren (Deuteronomy 4:9) 12:07 Grandchildren Rarely Forget a Testimony 12:43 Begin This Morning — Bless Each Grandchild by Name 17:11 Praying in Agreement — Standing Together This Morning 17:46 Yours Is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory — Amen Scriptures in this prayer (NKJV): Psalm 103:17-18 • Psalm 112:1-2 • Genesis 48:11 • Genesis 48:16 • Hebrews 11:21 • Psalm 121:7-8 • 2 Kings 11:1-21 • Isaiah 59:21 • 2 Timothy 1:5 • Acts 16:1 • 2 Timothy 3:15 • Deuteronomy 4:9 • Proverbs 17:6 • Isaiah 54:17 • Psalm 5:12 • Revelation 3:8 • Isaiah 54:13 #PrayerForGrandchildren #MorningPrayer #FamilyProtection
