The Haval H7 is built on the Hi4 (Hybrid Intelligent AWD) platform, which combines a 1.5 Turbo Flex engine in the front with two independent electric motors—one positioned on the front axle and the other on the rear axle—managed by a 4-speed DHT hybrid transmission. This architecture allows each axle to receive dedicated electric power, achieving all-wheel drive through continuous electronic torque vectoring between the front and rear wheels. The system delivers a combined power of 370 hp and a combined torque of 77 kgfm (760 Nm), whether using gasoline or ethanol. With these figures, the model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h, electronically limited. The liquid-cooled LFP (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) lithium battery has a capacity of 27.5 kWh, providing a purely electric range of up to 130 km in the WLTP cycle and 92 km in the Inmetro cycle. Its charging power is up to 6.6 kW for alternating current (AC) and up to 41 kW for direct current (DC), allowing the battery level to be raised from 30% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes. The design of the Haval H7 is a chapter apart in the brand's visual language. Its straight and striking forms originate from "sunmao," a Chinese construction technique with millennia of history, in which pieces of wood are joined by precise interlocking joints, without the use of nails. This inspiration is present in the rectangular light signature of the headlights and taillights and in the relationship between the body elements: the fender aligns with the hood and waistline in a composition of planes and edges that suggests the perfect fit between the parts, with carefully resolved overlapping lines and volumes. The feeling of robustness is reinforced by references to nature and the spirit of adventure. This is the case with the front grille composed of six blocks, which allude to the support points of a rock climbing wall. The result is a cohesive whole, in which geometry, proportion and symbolism work together to convey solidity, precision and presence, without resorting to unnecessary ornamentation. Built on a 2,738 mm wheelbase, the Haval H7 measures 4,800 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width and 1,843 mm in height. The luggage compartment accommodates 586 liters in the standard configuration for five occupants, expandable to 1,404 liters with the folding down of the second row of seats, also featuring an 18-inch spare tire on the tailgate. The monocoque structure was designed to handle off-road routes with ease. The model features 220 mm of ground clearance, a wading depth of 580 mm, an approach angle of 24° and a departure angle of 31.5°, as well as a towing capacity of up to 750 kg. The cabin features eco-leather upholstery on the seats and a multi-function steering wheel adjustable for height and reach. The front seats have integrated ventilation and eight-way power adjustment with memory, while the driver's seat also offers four-position lumbar support adjustment. The digital interface is based on a 15.6-inch multimedia center with the Coffee OS operating system (the same used in the Haval H6, Wey 07, and ORA 5), a 12.3-inch instrument panel, and a 9-inch Head-Up Display – this one with two viewing modes: Normal and Off-road. The connectivity package offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in 4G network, and a native Wi-Fi router for up to eight devices. The 236W 5.1-channel premium surround sound system offers high-fidelity sound thanks to its 9 speakers, subwoofer, and amplifier.
