All before breakfast on Sunday. And it had not rained. A landslide blocked a stream in the dark; the stream made no sound; at 4:30 AM it let go, and then blocked and burst at least six more times through the morning. It came six weeks after the Bhotekoshi flood killed more than 1,300 people in the same river corridor, and that corridor is on "very high risk" again. No one has been confirmed dead. Five are missing at the source, the landslide above them is still moving, 155 trekkers are in two villages with no road out, and the whole municipality is cut off.
