A Prince in Disguise | Dark Fantasy Series (Part 143)

Two men. 🖤 One quiet confession. And a moment that becomes a little less sweet than expected. 🔥 Alaric never imagined his life would turn out this way. He was born a prince. Raised with expectations. Responsibilities. A future that had already been decided for him long before he was old enough to question it. And somewhere in that future... there was never supposed to be a man like Yannis. Someone who would challenge everything he thought he knew about himself. Someone who would make him forget, if only for a moment, the weight of the crown waiting for him. And someone who could make him feel loved... without asking him to be anything other than himself. Now, standing together beneath a little waterfall hidden deep in the forest... Alaric finds himself looking at the man who changed everything. Yannis gently brushes the wet hair from his forehead. "...you're so beautiful." Such simple words. And yet... they still have the power to give Alaric butterflies. Because for so long, Alaric believed this kind of love was something he would never experience. He was supposed to marry Princess Anna — a political alliance of great importance to Caledorn. And falling in love with another man... was never something he'd imagined for himself. But here he is. Falling deeper in love with him every day. So Alaric finally says something he's perhaps been carrying in his heart for a long time. "I never imagined falling for a man... until you." And Yannis doesn't need to say anything. The way he looks at Alaric says enough. For a moment... everything is simply beautiful. Almost impossibly sweet. Until Alaric notices something. His eyes widen. And that familiar mischievous smile appears. "Oh... well... someone's feeling romantic." 😏 Apparently... Yannis has a rather enthusiastic way of expressing his affection. And Alaric? Well... he certainly doesn't seem to mind. 😏 This is just a small moment from The Firelords Saga — where a prince who never expected to fall in love with another man is discovering that sometimes the most unexpected love... is the one that changes your entire life. 🔥🖤 Thank you to everyone already following their story… it truly means more than you know. 🖤 So... Was Alaric's confession the sweetest part... or did his teasing steal the scene? 👀😏 If you love slow burn romance, emotional tension, fantasy storytelling, and Boys Love (BL) dynamics — this is for you. 💛 New here?
