Description

What happens when one of the most notorious manipulators of our time meets a filmmaker who's made a career out of manipulating reality? You Can See Everything, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, might be the best documentary of 2026. Following Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder of Theranos, in the weeks leading up to her prison sentence, the film begins as an intimate portrait of a controversial public figure before transforming into something far stranger and more fascinating. But how much of what we're watching is actually real? Are we witnessing genuine human behaviour, carefully constructed performances, or something in between? In this review, I discuss the film's unconventional storytelling, its exploration of truth and deception, and the ethical questions it raises about documentary filmmaking. I'll also explain why it reminded me of the works of Abbas Kiarostami and Mohsen Makhmalbaf, and why I think it's one of the most remarkable films of the year. NO SPOILERS! Have you seen the movie? What did you make of it? Let me know in the comments! #YouCanSeeEverything #NathanFielder #ElizabethHolmes #MovieReview #Documentary
