Description
Last October I spent $463 on coffee and snacks in one month. My grandmother's frugal habits got it down to $87. Here's how.
For 30 days I wrote down every coffee, candy bar and bag of chips I bought. That was 94 purchases, and the total was more than our electric bill. So I went back to my grandmother's frugal habits from her little yellow kitchen and tried 12 of them, from the morning pot and the plaid thermos to the cookie tin and the coin purse. Together they saved me $376 in one month, which is more than $4,500 a year. But the number one of my grandmother's frugal habits isn't about money at all. It's the one that finally explained why I was buying all that stuff in the first place.
⏱️ TIMESTAMPS:

Which one of these habits are you going to try first? Is it the thermos, the cookie tin, or calling up a friend for coffee? Tell me in the comments below.
