A Heart in Shadows - Episode 1 | Falling for the Enemy | Firelords Saga (Gay Dark Romantasy Series)

#mmromance #gayromance #darkromantasy He should have killed the enemy soldier. Instead, Yannis awakens something Dorian never expected — desire. And Dorian decides he isn’t leaving the battlefield without him. 🖤⚔️ Long before Dorian became the man many would come to fear, he was the High Marshal of Valen — a renowned warrior trapped in a broken marriage and preparing to lead his army into war against the Dragon Lord. The battlefield should make things simple. Friend or enemy. Victory or death. Then Dorian crosses paths with Yannis. A young warrior fighting for the enemy. Wounded. Defiant. And far too beautiful for Dorian not to notice. Their encounter should end with one of them dead. It doesn’t. Because something about Yannis makes Dorian hesitate — and the longer they face each other, the harder it becomes to pretend that what he feels is merely curiosity. For Yannis, Dorian is still a dangerous enemy. But for Dorian, something has already begun. Fascination. Attraction. Desire. And perhaps the first hint of something far more dangerous. 🖤⚔️ A Heart in Shadows is Dorian’s Story, a storyline within The Firelords Saga — a gay dark romantasy about two enemy warriors, forbidden attraction, war, dragons, betrayal and the dangerous line between loving someone and believing they belong to you. Chronologically, A Heart in Shadows takes place before the A Prince in Disguise storyline. Yannis is around 26 years old during the events of A Heart in Shadows — long before he first meets Prince Alaric, the love of his life. 🖤 Set in an epic medieval fantasy world of warring kingdoms, ancient bloodlines, dragon riders and morally grey characters, Dorian’s story explores the past of a man many already know as a villain — and the relationship that helped shape the man he would become. For anyone who loves sprawling medieval fantasy but has ever wished the warrior at the centre of the story could fall for another man. 🖤⚔️🐉 Because Dorian does not meet the love of his life on this battlefield. He meets the first man he cannot simply kill, ignore… or forget. 🔥 A Heart in Shadows — Episode 1 Part of The Firelords Saga 🔥 Visuals created using @openart_ai 👉 Get OpenArt here: https://openart.ai/home?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=influencer&utm_campaign=infl-youtube--na-acq-web&ref=firelordssaga Affiliate Disclosure: I may earn a commission from the link above at no extra cost to you. 🔥 A note about this series: The Firelords Saga is based on an older story of mine, brought to life with the help of AI tools.
