Description

PRIMETIME is one of the strangest and most anticipated movies of 2026. Directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson, the film is a heavily fictionalised take on Chris Hansen and the popularity of To Catch a Predator, the reality show that turned disturbing real-world crimes into hugely popular primetime entertainment. This is a complicated movie to simply recommend or not recommend, and I explain why in the video. It wants us to question the ethics of turning predators, investigations and humiliation into television spectacle… while also being a slick, stylish and entertaining movie about those exact same things. In this review, I talk about Robert Pattinson’s standout performance, the film’s creative 4:3 cinematography, its commentary on reality television and celebrity, and why I think the movie starts to lose momentum during its second half. Let me know what you thought of the movie in the comments. #Primetime #RobertPattinson #LanceOppenheim #MovieReview #FilmReview #Cinema #ToCatchAPredator
