BATMAN: KNIGHTFALL Goes Way Harder Than I Expected

Batman: Knightfall Part 1 brings one of the most famous Batman comic book stories to life in a brutal, fast-paced and surprisingly intense animated movie — and I think it might be one of the best Batman movies we've gotten in years. In this video, I break down why this adaptation works, from its terrifying take on Bane and Batman's gradual physical deterioration to Tim Drake's role, the introduction of Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael, and THAT brutal confrontation between Batman and Bane. I also discuss where the movie falls short, including its rushed pacing, Bane's underdeveloped motivations, and the limitations of its animation. But despite those flaws, Knightfall Part 1 reminded me why DC's animated movies have remained some of the most interesting comic book adaptations around. They don't need a massive cinematic universe. They just need a great Batman story. And if the next two chapters can maintain this quality, DC could have another animated Batman classic on its hands. ⚠️ SPOILERS for Batman: Knightfall Part 1 and the original Knightfall comic storyline. What did you think of Batman: Knightfall Part 1? Is this the best version of Bane we've seen on screen? #Batman #BatmanKnightfall #Knightfall #DC #DCAnimation #Bane #BatmanMovies #DCAnimated #ComicBooks #BatmanFans
