Description
This is the continuation of my previous video.
I loaded the remaining half of a giant concrete pipe onto my dump truck by myself. To be honest, I wasn't sure I could finish the job until it was finally on the truck.
Many people suggested using a steel cable after the last video. I actually brought both a grinder and a cable that day, and even considered cutting a notch in the pipe to thread the cable through. In the end, I decided to try it without the cable.
The pipe was almost exactly the same length as the dump bed, so it kept sliding backward. All I had was an old rope hooked onto the back of the excavator bucket. Looking back, I don't think I could repeat this job the same way.
A contractor quoted me ¥110,000 to dispose of the pipe. I hoped doing it myself would cost around ¥30,000, but the final disposal fee was ¥86,130. After all that work, it wasn't nearly as cheap as I had imagined.
Even so, the pipe is finally gone, and that's what matters most.
