Description
Can you load different types of waste into the same dump truck?
I asked a local industrial waste disposal company, and they told me, “Keep them separated. Put one type in the front and the other in the back.”
So this is my first attempt at hauling mixed loads.
The cleanup of my inherited land is still going on, and what I'm loading right now is reinforced concrete. There isn't that much of it, so driving an hour round trip just to dispose of this one type of waste would be a waste of time.
I was honestly nervous even asking this question. Maybe after going there a few times, they started to recognize me. At first, I think they were suspicious of me. I'm an outsider who speaks differently, and I clearly don't look like the kind of person who would normally come to a place like this. Until I inherited this land, I didn't even know a company like this existed.
There's dirt inside the concrete pipes, so I'm standing them up with the excavator and letting the dirt fall out. I don't know whether they'll accept concrete that still has soil inside, so I'm taking it slowly and playing it safe.
The granite is still sitting there untouched. I haven't been able to find a nearby company that accepts natural stone.
This is the kind of situation where I feel like asking AI for help, but the internet doesn't tell you exactly who will accept what from this particular piece of land. In the end, you have to ask the local people.
And the answer to the mixed-load question in the first half of the video was: reinforced concrete in the front, wooden posts in the back.
