Description
Turns out work gloves don't stop a stone from splitting your finger.
Another day picking concrete out of the land my father left me.
The land is 300 km from my house, so my wife and I drive up once a month and come back the same day. It's my inheritance, not hers, yet she keeps showing up and doing half the work without being asked. I weigh 55 kg, so wrestling an engine breaker for a few hours leaves me useless for days after.
About this channel: not long ago, 99.5% of the people watching were Japanese. Now it's less than half. After passing 1,000 subscribers I checked the money and it was around 1,000 yen a month, which was a bit of a gut punch. Staying Japanese-only had a ceiling I could already see, so I turned the channel toward viewers abroad, knowing full well I'd lose a lot of the people who got me here. Most of you leave within 30 seconds. Fair enough.
And then I managed to hit my own right hand with a stone I threw myself. Blood on the glove, nothing dramatic, so I kept going. Months later, while editing this, the finger still hasn't healed properly.
