Description

I took 1.4 tons of old utility poles and reinforced concrete to the disposal site, and I was told to unload the wood by hand. A big grapple machine was parked right next to my truck. This picks up where the last one left off. The creosote-coated poles were loaded in the back of the dump truck, and the reinforced concrete was stacked up front. I couldn't tip the bed, because the concrete would have slid off along with the wood. I half expected them to use the machine. They didn't. So I pulled the poles off one by one and sweated through my shirt. I'm a paying customer, and not a cheap one. Maybe that's just me. The total came to 29,684 yen. Manifest slip for industrial waste: 400 yen Reinforced concrete: 790 kg at 15 yen per kg Poles and other wood: 630 kg at 40 yen per kg, a bit pricier, probably because of the preservative So I hand-unloaded 630 kg of 40-yen-per-kilo wood. No wonder I was soaked. The second half was supposed to be about digging out a septic tank. It was never used and never installed, so there is nothing illegal about it. I'm glad it came apart without trouble. I also moved some garden stones with the grapple that day. I have no footage of either. Whenever I get good footage, the memory card goes missing or snaps. For the drive to the disposal site, I tried an AI-generated clip because I didn't film it. It looked pretty convincing. I won't use it again. My story isn't made up, so I'll keep filming real footage and I won't recreate what happened with AI. Where I do rely on AI is translation and voice. I can't do that part without it. I've kept up the translation for 10 months on about 5 hours of sleep a night. I sleep 5 hours, but my used 50,000-yen PC doesn't sleep at all. It keeps working on multilingual versions around the clock. Take a look at the audio tracks. Your native language might be in there. If you're listening in a language other than Japanese, I'd really like to hear how the translation and voice sound to you. And to everyone
