Used Running Shoes for 2,500 Yen (Retail 12,000 Yen)

Running shoes, 2,500 yen. Retail price is 12,000 yen. Just a slightly broke Japanese guy buying shoes on a flea market app. The newest model, 「Hyper Speed 6」, sells for 12,000 yen. What I actually bought is a used pair of 「Hyper Speed 1」 for 2,500 yen. Before this I had 「Hyper Speed 2」. I picked those up three years ago, also for 2,500 yen, and I put more than 2,000 km on them. That is roughly 47 full marathons, if you do the math. I do not get to pick the color. I just buy whatever decent pair happens to be listed cheap. Used does not bother me at all. It is always used. This pair will probably last me another three years or so, and honestly, most of the second-hand stuff I end up with is in pretty clean shape. I have sold things on there too, so I know how it works from the other side. Sell something for 2,500 yen and about 1,000 yen disappears into fees and shipping. The seller keeps 1,500 yen.
