America's Tourism Envoy Is Furious That People Won't Visit the United States

Remember Nick Adams, Trump's tourism envoy who told everyone that America was the greatest place on earth to visit? Well, apparently he's not quite so happy anymore. With Canadians continuing to avoid travelling to the United States, Adams is now criticising the tourism boycott and accusing people of hurting American workers and businesses. Apparently choosing not to spend our own money in the US is now something we should feel guilty about. I guess it's easier to blame everybody else than accept why people no longer want to visit. Meanwhile, back home in Vancouver, Canada has just wrapped up a record breaking cruise tourism season with over 1.4 million passengers and 358 cruise ship visits. And with more growth expected, the city is already preparing upgrades to accommodate the additional ships. Quite the contrast when you look at what's happening south of the border.
