Jacob Frey Still Assumes Canadians Will Visit The US | GTL Merch Store Is Live

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has a message for Canadians, and after watching his entire video, I'm not sure he fully understands why so many of us are still refusing to visit the United States. Now, I respect Jacob Frey for standing up against ICE and what his city has gone through, but there's something rather arrogant about assuming Canadians are eventually going to come back and visit Minneapolis. Why is it always about us crossing the border and spending our money in America? If they miss Canadians so much, why don't they come up and visit us instead? In today's video, I'm taking another look at Frey's invitation and reading a rather powerful response from a Manitoban who explains why visiting Minnesota is simply not an option anymore. I'm also sharing a video from a fellow Canadian who explains why the Canadian boycott of US travel could be permanent for a lot of us. This isn't just about Donald Trump or waiting for the next election. The Canada US relationship has changed, and I think some Americans are going to be rather surprised when they realise that Canadians aren't necessarily coming back. And to end things on a slightly funnier note, another Canadian creator has some rather entertaining frustrations about Americans who seem to forget that other countries actually exist. Having experienced some of these situations myself, I can definitely relate. Lol. All of this ties into the larger issue of Canada US relations and why Canadians avoiding US travel isn't something that can be fixed with another invitation, tourism campaign or a friendly message from a politician.
