Cleaning Up Inherited Land… And Another Problem Shows Up

Another problem showed up. I'm cleaning up some land I inherited. The contractor who ran off left a ton of junk behind, and I still have no clue what it even is. Animal shed? Torn-down container? Farming stuff? No idea. My wife saw it and basically said, "This is a job for the pros." But since we have an excavator and a dump truck, we just had to do it ourselves. Just when I thought we were done with the concrete and wood scraps, I found a lid buried in the ground. Opened it up—septic tank. All I can do is sigh.
