For years she has been the quiet, elegant woman you would pass on the street without a second look, and the deadliest weapon a Boston crime family owns. She follows orders, she never misses, and she has learned to feel nothing. Until one job goes exactly as planned and leaves a little boy alone in the world, and for the first time in her life, something in her refuses to look away. A year later, the guilt still has not let go of her. She finds the boy, Danny, surviving on the streets and running errands for a brutal local boss, and she steps into his life the way no one ever stepped into hers. She feeds him, she protects him, she gives him the one thing she was never given. But every hour she spends with that boy pulls her closer to a line the family never forgives anyone for crossing. When she finally crosses it to keep him safe, the war comes fast. The people who raised her, trained her, and turned her into their perfect killer realize what she has done, and they decide the woman and the boy both have to disappear. Now the organization that made her the most dangerous person in the city is about to aim everything it has at her. They spent years teaching her how to kill for them. They never once imagined she would turn all of it against them. To save one boy, the woman everyone underestimated is ready to burn the entire empire to the ground. ___________________________________________________________________________ Hey!
