She is dating a man whose family has money, history, and a beautiful house hidden deep in the countryside, and she has agreed to spend the weekend with all of them to celebrate his parents' anniversary. She is polite, she is quiet, and she keeps her head down at a dinner table full of people who barely notice she is there. None of them have any idea who is really sitting among them. The evening falls apart in an instant. An arrow comes through the window, then another, and the family realizes with horror that men in masks have surrounded the house in the dark. Doors are blocked. Phones are useless. One by one the people inside begin to fall, and the longer the night goes on, the clearer it becomes that this was never random. Someone planned every second of this. While everyone else screams and panics, Erin goes quiet in a very different way. The frightened girlfriend from the dinner table starts moving through the house like she has done this before, turning hallways into traps and ordinary objects into weapons. The hunters outside came expecting easy prey. They are about to learn they walked into the home of the one person they should never have touched. Because the secret Erin has kept all night is the kind that changes everything, and the real nightmare is not who is outside the house. It is what she is willing to do, and who was behind it all along. By sunrise, nobody at that table will ever be underestimated the same way again. Stay till the end for the twist. ___________________________________________________________________________ Hey!
