Why would our neighbor do this?

The Tree was mine...But our neighbor Shocked Us... A massive dead pine tree was standing along our property line—and one strong storm could have sent it crashing through our neighbor’s new fence or into the pasture where her horses graze. Because the tree was on our property, we expected the entire removal cost to be ours. Our first estimate came in at nearly $2,000, but our neighbor asked whether her tree service could give us another quote. Their estimate was only $1,250. That alone was great news. Then our neighbor did something we never expected: she offered to split the bill with us 50/50. In this video, we share the full story, watch an experienced climber carefully dismantle the dangerous tree, and show why good neighbors are sometimes even more valuable than the property we share. Trees eventually fall. Good neighbors are a lot harder to find.
